For those who may have been wondering what I have been about this summer since it obviously has not been writing, here is a post about my move to Oklahoma.
Here I am at my new house. No, I don’t have any pictures of the piles of boxes that I’ve been unpacking for my main project this summer, but I can share a visual of cleaning.

Even my brother used a little help to reach all the way to the top of the walls. I’m very grateful for the help.
My brother-in-law helped, too, but his picture turned out blurry.
I can’t blame everything on working. There’s been a lot of time spent with family members in the area, too.

My brother and I took a trip to Oklahoma’s Wichita Mountains to hike and climb around on rocks.

2) What does Kansas have more of than Oklahoma?
“No U-turn” signs
Not mostly road signs–in driveways, personal and business. I thought it was odd until I realized how many dead ends there were…
Paved Roads
This is based on what I’ve seen, and may not be true across the board. Still, instead of gravel country roads around here, I see more asphalt in the country with 35 to 45mph speed limits, no shoulders, and intermittent stripes painted on them.
Reflective Road Paint
You got it.

I was afraid this chrysanthemum wouldn’t make it. It took until the week of Thanksgiving to bloom, but then the flowers stayed for about a month.
